Gleason Engineering was established in 1999, but before Dennis made his engineering company dream a reality, he worked on hundreds of other projects in the petroleum industry. His 40+ years of experience in the industry backed by a thorough education provide him and his team with the knowledge to help you make the most of your crude oil and natural gas investments.

Dennis graduated from The University of Missouri-Rolla with a Masters in Science in Geological Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Wichita State University.
Dennis has spent decades overseeing projects, researching, and learning everything he can about the industry and the geological impacts. From his early days on teams to leading his company, he’s been witness to every aspect of the petroleum process.

He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the state of Texas, and a member of The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB).

Highlights and Overview Of Gleason Engineering and Our Experience
- The formative years – Our Founder began his career as a student intern in 1972, working the oilfields of Kansas and Oklahoma as a means of offset the cost of higher education. He graduated in 1977, finishing a Master of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
- In the early years of his professional career, Mr Gleason was engaged in field operations and management, responsible for the oversight and development planning for more than 2,000 oil wells, located in north central Texas
- By 1981, Mr Gleason was a licensed Professional Engineer and had begun to practice Engineering Consulting.
- His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction have earned him the respect of both his peers and clients.
- With more than 40 years professional experience, Mr Gleason is a known leader and expert in the field of Petroleum Engineering.
- Gleason’s experience has been accumulated mostly in the oil and gas basins of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana. However, he is also familiar with the producing areas located in the Michigan Basin, the Williston Basin, the Denver-Julesberg Basin, the Illinois Basin, the Black Warrior Basin, the Bighorn Basin, Powder River Basin, Green River Basin, Unita Basin, the Paradox Basin and the San Juan Basin.
- Not surprisingly, Mr Gleason has worked the Aqua Fria, Vera Cruz and Cantarell Basins of Mexico, and the Alberta Basin of Canada.
- More recently, Dennis has assisted with the evaluation of oil and gas evaluations of assets located in the North Sea, Ukraine, on-shore and off-shore Angola, on-shore Indonesia and off-shore Viet Nam.
